Finally have some new sightings to share on the fox family cam (see https://www.simonkingwildlife.com/fox-family-cam/). Had the flu over the weekend, so that is why I was inactive then. Foxes have got to be a cool sight to see in one's back yard. In my neck of the woods, foxes usually come in the form of coyotes (definitely more likely to see a coyote in my neighborhood than a red fox).
Foxes can be a pretty common sight in England if you know where to look (especially at night), not that I have ever been to England, though North America also gets various kinds of foxes (mostly red foxes here in Washington State) in most states. BTW, at this time year, it is actually mating season for red foxes so they tend to be more active at this time of year, and more vocal too (like their infamous vixen scream mating calls).
