Commentary about the video:
The term snow dog obviously applies to this playful alaskan malamute featured in this video. It appears to be his first time in the snow and he is ready to play in it. I've never actually had a malamute before (though I wouldn't mind getting one some day of course), but have seen a few of them before (such as the one I filmed at a rest area in central Washington a few months back), but the do seem to have a playful personality. Also, they have really thick coats, and so they can stay warm even in extremly cold conditions (a must for ones that rrrare used as sled dogs, especially in Alaska and other places in the far north). I like how the dog is just running around the yard and playing while the owner is just standing there, which the dog is probably wishing that the owner would play too (such as throwing the ball for him, giving him something to pull, etc). I give this video a thumbs up.
New Poll: which breed do you like more: huskies or malamutes (just out of curiousity)

Here is another video about a dog playing with a robot. This time, it is between a siberian husky and a transformers-like robot.
Isn't it amazing how dogs will get curious about the different kinds of inventions we people have? I've seen dogs chasing after laser pens, barking at themselves at mirrors, etc, and now robots can give them new "playmates" to play with. In this video, it is obvious that the husky does not seem to be sure of what to make of the robot and gets a little hyper around it and even barks a bit. Though, eventually the dog just goes and lays down, ignoring it a bit (shows the lack of the "guard dog" personality in the husky being a typical husky he is). Luckily for the robot, the dog does not seem to be the agressive type, since a more agressive breed (imagine if the dog was actually a german shepard or a doberman pincer for example) might try to take the robot out (even a golden retriever might chase after it as they will try to grab things that move such as balls). By the way, there seem to be plenty of similar videos out there.
BTW, do you have a video about your dog playing with a robot? Feel free to share them. This blog is for you all and I want to have some interactivity here. Don't be shy people.

Here is anothe video for any of you husky lovers out there. While watching the husky fight video, I saw a link to this video about 4 huskies playing. Normally people might only have one or 2 huskies (at the most, besides dog mushers), but in this video, you see 4 huskies together (got to be a handful if you ask me). BTW, do any of you have huskies? If so, feel free to share some videos about your dogs. I don't have a husky myself (have a golden retriever and a bichon frise shizu instead), but want to get one some day.
Here is another fight video I stumbled across on youtube. In this video, you see two huskies duking it out against each other. Note: they were just "playing". BTW, if you have any funny videos about 2 animals fighting, feel free to share. I'd be happy to post them.
Here is a video for you bigfoot lovers out there. While bigfoot's existance may be up for debate in real life, Bigfoot is very real in Red Dead Redemption Nightmare. In fact, in at least one of the missions, you can expect to do some bigfoot hunting. In this video, you will see a real live Bigfoot hunt, Red Dead Redemption style. Note: you would have to get the Nightmare expansion pack for Red Dead Redemption (the expansion pack where you fight zombies and other creatures) to unlock bigfoot (he might exist in the reglar game, but I can't verify it). BTW, I actually did this mission myself (though the video was posted by someone else) and I thought that it was a little too easy. All the bigfoots do is run away from you and you can easily take them out with your rifle. The "boss" even turns out to just be a talking bigfoot that pretty much says, "please kill me!", though you do not have to kill the "boss" to complete the mission (I actually spared him my self).
Now, for a little interactivity, here is a short poll. Just out of curiousity, are there any bigfoot believers here? I want to believe the phenomenon, but I will actually have to see the creature before I can believe they are real. BTW, if you have any videos about bigfoot (and other strange creatures) you want to share, I'd be happy to post them (preferably real videos, not obvious hoaxes).
