Description: Here is another video featuring both a husky and a malamute. In this video, an obviously bored husky tries to get the malamute to play with him (the shorter dog is the husky), but the malamute holds his ground, while an amused camera man wtches them. Posted by jbuson on youtube. Like this video? Be sure to recommend it to others.
Description: Here is a short video of a husky and malamute playing together. Posted by seyhaun on youtube. BTW, if you have videos about your dogs you want to share, feel free to contribute. Don't be shy people as this blog is for you guys.
Description: sorry for the delay, but I finally just posted the second series of videos I made at the Evergreen State fair (the first one was about the dog barn, though of course fairs like the Evergreen State fair has more than just dogs). At the Evergreen State fair, they have a huge collection of horse exhibits as well as an arena where they have horse competions, rodeos, and similar equestrian events. Even when the fair is not going on, sometimes they have horse shows too. Stay tuned for the next video as it will about the other farm animals there. BTW, I wanted to go to the Puyallup fair as well this year, but didn't get around to it, plus I was a little tight on money, though perhaps next year.
Description: In this funny video I made, I was a playing the Xbox 360 game, Red Dead redemption and I got a little bored and thought that I would have some fun with John Marston. In this video, watch my character get mauled to death by wolves. Very funny video. BTW, I don't recommend you trying this stunt in real life of course.

- bigfoot expeditions (same goes with other cryptozoological creatures)
- dogs reacting to ghosts in the house
- dogs going trick or treating
- visits to the pumpkin patches (at least ones with farm animals)
- Kids getting startled by dogs or cats

Description: any malamute lovers here? You will love this cute video, posted by terazital on youtube about some of her 6 month old malamute puppies. The adult malamutes are there too, but they seem to be a bit subdued (probably jealous of the puppies).

Here is a video I found from Woodland Park Zoo about flamingos playing. The Woodland Park Zoo is the largest zoo in the Seattle area and is home to lots of species of animals like these flamingos here. I usually go to the Woodland Park Zoo at least once a year myself and even attended one of the volunteer events last spring (helped put together packets for the upcoming sumer camps program). I'd love to see a flamingo up close some day. By the way, I do have future aspirations to check out other zoos someday, especially the San Diego zoo if I ever get both the time and money to do so. I've also been to the Point Defiance Zoo, the Seattle aquarium, the zoo in Portland, as well as the one near Vancouver, BC as well. So, what to you think about these flamingos?

Description: I thought I would share a video about adoptable alaskan malamutes, posta by shatagirlz. Note: it has been a few months since this video was posted, so some of them may have been adopted or euthanized by now, so you will probably want to check with the shelter if you are interested in adopting. I'd get one myself, but don't have the money for one.
Description: just in case if any of you are thinking about getting a siberian husky anytime soon, here is a video about one of several that are up for adoption at an animal shelter in California. The video was posted by baldwinparkdogs on youtube, and so if you are interested in getting one, you are welcome to contact them.
Description: here is another video I stumbled across on youtube (posted by joannaofcharles) about a Siberian Husky, named Tubok that can say, "I love you". BTW, there are lots of videos about huskies and malamutes saying, "I love you".
Description: here is another video about some friendly whales I found on youtube (this time near San Francisco). This time these are humpback whales. Humpbacks are much larger than Gray Whales, btw. This was posted by earthviews. BTW, have similar videos you want to share? Be sure to submit it, and I would be happy to post it.
Description: here is a short promotional video I found on youtube about Malarrimo (some lagoon in Baja California), posted by tonyachoy, where there is a place where people can see some friendly gray whales. I've never done this trip before (though I did see some humpback whales when I went on a cruise to Alaska back in August), but it would be fun to do so someday of course.

Description: here is a short funny video I found on youtube, posted by magicfingers13 about a granny getting dragged by her dog when whe tries throwing the ball for him (she seemed to forget that she was holding this leash). Funny video
Commentary: though this is a short video, I thought that it was pretty funny watching granny going flying when the dog chases after the ball she throws. Btw, planning to post some similar videos as well.
Description: we all know that dogs will sometimes get excited when we ask them if they want to go outside (or "trigger words", where a dog will react to certain words we say to them). In this video, the two huskies start "talking" when asked if they want to go outsided. Posted by jenp0217 on youtube
Description: here is a somewhat funny video I found on youtube, posted by jenp0217 about both a husky pup and a full grown husky reacting when some lady drawing circles with her wine glass with her finger.
Commentary: this video shows how intellegent huskies can be as they seem to pay attention when they hear noises (like the lady moving her finger around a wine glass). Of course, this does not work with every breed as some dogs will likely ignore something like this.
Btw, you can also find this form at the bottom of the blog (scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the form). I'd be happy to post pictures, links to your website or blog (in exchange for a reciporical link of course), videos, articles, or whatever. Note: all submissions must be relevant to this blog (about animals and animal related stuff).

Video Description: early in the 2000's (before Borat back in 2006), there was what is called "Da Ali G show", which was a twisted but funny show about Sacha Boren Cohen in his roles as Ali G, Bruno and Borat as they go to different places, do interviews with unsuspecting people (including politicians like Ralph Nader, the secretary general at the UN, etc), visit variousl locations (such as the episode where Ali G tried his luck being trained to be a police officer at a police academy), as well as other funny moments. In this video above, "Borat" decides to visit a dog show pretending to be interested in the dogs. Enjoy the video.
Yes this is a short episode about Borat. If you have seen the Borat film back in 2006, you would know that Borat (played by Sasha Cohen) poses as a Kazakstan immigrant who tends to pose as a total idiot, and in this episode, he visits a dog show. Personally I haven't been to a dog show in a while, but it would be fun to attend one some time. Anyways, Borat goes around at the dog show, checking out the different dogs there, and gets a little wiered too. Multiple breeds here. The dogs seemed to react a bit around Borta too (for example, a husky shies away from Borat after a while).
It is funny how dogs will play with sprinklers and similar devices. I made a similar video a while back about my golden retriever getting himself all dirty when I turned on a spinkler for him as well.
Here is the video I made:
As you can see, my dog does almost the same thing, though he got really dirty afterwards (my mom ended up having to hose him down to clean him off). It was pretty funny though.

Here is a funny video about a husky puppy dragging an Akita puppy, funny video.
It is clear that the husky is dominating the akita. I am thinking about making a simlar video some time about my golden retriever "walking" my shizu. It would be very funny.

Here is a funny clip I saw on South Park the other day about a monkey that goes berserk after being given money from governement officials. There was a hysteria about sexual addiction in the episode, and there was an experience involving an ape and money. Funny results.
Commentary about this video:
I though that this video was hillarious. The monkey goes on a humping rampage after being given money and then later gets subdued. The only downside to this video is that it appears that there is no sound in the video. Sorry. This video was posted by UrPimpinGrandma on youtube.
- being on a major cruise ship for the first time
- visiting Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway
- Checking out the Tracy Arm Fjord
- Going on a sled dog tour at the Klondike Gold Fields Museum (it is actually cheaper there than it is to some of the excursions where you see sled dogs, such as the one on top of the Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau). Note: the dogs are actually a hybrid breed known as Alaskan Huskies, not Siberian Huskies. It appears that Alaskan Huskies have become more popular among many mushers over sibes as they tend to be faster and more agile than Siberian Huskies.
- Visting the Mendenhall Glacier. I even saw a black bear while at the park
- Hanging out in Ketchikan (we mainly toured the shops while there). It is also where I took a short video about a friendly, but obviously camera shy siberian husky I saw.
- Being in Alaska for the very first time in my life
as well as plenty of highlights on the boat as well (such as hanging out in the Skywalker Lounge, listening to lectures about Alaska from guests like a naturalist as well as a veteran Iditrod Racer, etc )
Anyways, I am planning to post the videos I have taken from the cruise. Note: not all of them are animal related, but there is lots of wilderness in Alaska (even in South East Alaska) and so, stay tuned for videos about Alaska in the near future.

It's time for another malamute video. In this video, a malamute puppy, Lakota is listening to somebody on a cellphone and subsequently tries to eat the phone (posted by girlsontheinternet on youtube). Funny video.
I thought that this video was funny.
It appears huskies and malamutes have a tendency to howl (while they don't seem to bark much, they do like to howl) and in this video, on husky is howling when hearing some background music. Interestingly, there is actually a 2nd husky in the video, but the other one is just watching the one howling (don't know their names). By the way, this is an interesting feat as I am sure it does not work with every dog. My dogs would probably ignore the music. Be sure to comment on this video and share this post with others.
In this video, you see a guy trying to play a game on the regular nintendo (presumably Mario Bros). Of course, his cat does not seem to like that and will do what he can to disrupt his game play. Hillarity ensues. I have two dogs, and they never do anything like this when I play Xbox 360, though sometimes they do get bored and try to get my attention (such as going outside with them). Personally, I think this cat has some issues as it seems to flip out each time the guy tries to play his game. Of course, he could always close the door and then the cat won't be able to bother him.
Commentary about the video:
Personally, I don't have any cats myself, but might get one some day. Anyways, cats can sometimes do some very funny things on home videos, and in this video, it starts with a cat on a treadmill and then the person in the room decides to turn it on (probably to see if the cat will run on the treadmill). Instead of running, the cat flips out and starts beating the treadmill with his claws. Later on, another cat joins in on the fun too. Persoanlly, I thought that this was a very funny video worth watching. Don't worry, no real damage was done to the machine, aside from scratch marks made my the cats. Like this video, please be sure to share it with others, comment on it, etc.
